Getting Started with Paychex Flex Login

Logging in to Paychex Flex is straightforward. Whether you're an employer managing payroll or an employee checking your pay stubs, our secure login process ensures your data is protected. Here's everything you need to know about signing in.

Step 1: Navigate to the Login Page

Visit paychex.getsignon.com or click the "Sign In" button on our homepage. You'll be taken to the secure login page where you can begin the sign-in process.

Step 2: Enter Your Username

On the login page, you'll see a field labeled "Username." This is the username you created when you first signed up for Paychex Flex. If you don't remember your username:

• Click the "Forgot username" link
• Enter your email address
• Check your inbox for an email with your username
• If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam or junk folder

Step 3: Enter Your Password

After entering your username, click "Continue" and you'll be prompted to enter your password. Make sure you're typing it correctly — passwords are case-sensitive.

If you've forgotten your password:

• Click the "Forgot password" link on the login page
• Enter your username or email address
• Follow the instructions sent to your email to reset your password
• Your new password must be at least 8 characters long and include a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters

Step 4: Verify Your Identity (SSN & ZIP Code)

For an extra layer of security, Paychex Flex requires you to verify your identity using:

1. Last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)
2. Your ZIP code (the one associated with your account)

This step helps protect your account from unauthorized access, even if someone has your username and password.

Step 5: Enter the Verification Code (OTP)

After entering your SSN last 4 and ZIP code, Paychex Flex will send a one-time verification code (OTP) to your registered phone number via SMS. Enter this code on the login page to complete your sign-in.

Tip: The verification code expires after 10 minutes. If it expires, you can request a new code by clicking "Resend Code."

Troubleshooting Common Login Issues

I can't access my Paychex Flex account

If you're unable to log in, try these steps:

• Clear your browser cache and cookies
• Try using a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge)
• Make sure your internet connection is stable
• Check if your account has been locked (too many failed attempts)
• Contact Paychex support at 1-800-PAYCHDX for assistance

The verification code isn't arriving

If you're not receiving the OTP via SMS:

• Check that your phone number is correct in your account settings

I've forgotten both my username and password
